GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS
  • The poster must correspond exactly to the title and content of the abstract that was submitted.
  • Poster dimensions should not exceed a 36 inch high x 48 inch wide poster board.
  • The poster will be mounted with push pins or double-sided Velcro onto a cork board/plastic easel (all will be provided).
  • The poster must be presented in landscape orientation only.
  • Your poster presentation and setup/takedown time will be advised prior to the conference.

Tips to make a successful poster presentation
  1. Plan your poster to be in logical sequence (i.e., background/objective, methods, results, conclusions).
  2. Most of the poster should consist of large, clear figures, with text kept to a minimum (mainly background and conclusions).
  3. Don’t overcrowd the poster but focus on explaining and illustrating the key points.
  4. Posters should be designed for clear viewing from a distance of at least 3 feet so that they can be viewed by a number of people at the same time.
  5. A visually appealing, colorful poster can be impactful.
  6. Memorize a short presentation on your poster to help start conversations.
  7. Relax and be enthusiastic! Show ENEBC participants why your work is interesting.
  8. Enjoy the questions! No-one is trying to catch you out, rather, questions show a genuine interest in your research
